What if I miss a dose of Foundayo pill 5.5 mg?
Take the missed dose as soon as possible. Do not take more than one tablet in a day and do not double up. The UK SmPC gives no hours cut-off. The US label adds that after 7 or more missed doses in a row, dose escalation restarts at a lower dose.
Can I start on Foundayo pill 5.5 mg?
No. Everyone starts on 0.8 mg. Starting higher raises the chance of severe nausea and vomiting. If you are switching from another provider, your prescriber can continue you on your current dose with proof of supply.
When should I move from 5.5 mg to 9 mg?
