Support and aftercare
Medicine is one part of treatment. A prescriber reviews every order, the pharmacy team answers your messages, and a plan for life after your goal is agreed with you.
- No appointment needed
- Unlimited clinical messaging
- No contract
What support includes
Every plan includes the six items here. You pay one monthly price, and nothing is sold as an extra.
- Before treatment begins, the prescribing clinician’s identity and professional registration must be clear. Aero’s named prescriber details will be published before booking opens.
- Agree a follow-up schedule with your prescriber, including how you report progress and side effects and who decides whether a dose should change.
Ask how to contact your clinical team
Questions about side effects, injecting or travel go to the pharmacy team who dispense your medicine. Clinical support hours and response times will be confirmed before the service launches.
What support includesSide effect help when you need help
You get practical steps for nausea, constipation and reflux, plus the warning signs needing urgent care.
Side effects and problemsFood, movement and sleep guidance
Nine guides cover protein, hydration, exercise and sleep, so you keep muscle while you lose weight.
Read the guides- Ask how maintenance care will be reviewed and priced. Aero’s longer-term service arrangements will be confirmed before booking opens.
Your care, stage by stage
Support changes as treatment moves on. Each stage has a named point of contact and a clear next step.
| Stage | What you do | What the clinical team does | Guides |
|---|---|---|---|
| Before you start | Complete the health check, about 2 minutes. Confirm your ID and weight. | A UK prescriber reads every answer and messages you if anything needs checking. | Who can use treatment |
| First month | Take the starter dose. Note side effects and appetite changes. | The pharmacy sends your medicine with a start guide. Injectable orders include needles and a sharps bin. | Mounjaro, Wegovy, Wegovy pill |
| Each month after | Report weight, side effects and how you feel before your next order. | The prescriber reviews your check-in and agrees the dose with you: stay, step up or step down. | Side effects and problems |
| A plateau or a problem | Message the clinical team from your account. | Your prescriber should review your treatment, side effects and circumstances before any change. Confirm the clinical service’s response times; do not use messaging for urgent help. | Breaking a plateau |
| Near your goal | Tell the prescriber where you want to settle. | The prescriber reviews ongoing treatment and follow-up with you. | Maintenance doses |
| Stopping | Step down gradually and keep your habits in place. | The prescriber sets the step-down plan. You can pause or cancel at any point with no fee. | Tapering off, Life after treatment |
Why aftercare matters
Weight often returns once treatment stops. Trials measured how much.
- SURMOUNT-4. After 36 weeks on tirzepatide, people switched to placebo regained 14.0% of body weight over the next 52 weeks. People who continued lost a further 5.5%.
- STEP 4. After 20 weeks on semaglutide, people switched to placebo regained 6.9% over 48 weeks. People who continued lost a further 7.9%.
- STEP 1 extension. One year after stopping semaglutide 2.4 mg, participants had regained about two thirds of the weight lost.
This is why your maintenance plan starts before you reach your goal. Read preventing weight regain and weight loss maintenance.

Clinical governance
Awaiting clinical provider details
The dispensing pharmacy, GPhC registration number and Superintendent Pharmacist will be named here once confirmed. A UK prescriber reviews every order before any medicine is supplied.
Support questions
Who answers my messages?
Aero’s patient support contacts and responsibilities have not been confirmed. Before booking opens, we will identify who handles clinical questions, pharmacy queries and administrative messages, with contact details and response times. Prescribing decisions remain with the responsible prescriber.
How often will a prescriber review my treatment?
Aero has not confirmed its treatment review schedule. Before booking, ask how follow-up works, what information you need to provide and when to report side effects. Your prescriber should explain the review arrangements appropriate to your treatment.
Do I have to increase my dose every month?
Dose changes follow your prescription and the medicine’s approved schedule. They should take account of tolerability and treatment response. Ask your prescriber before delaying, increasing or otherwise changing a dose; different medicines have different initiation and maintenance instructions.
What happens when I reach my goal weight?
The prescriber agrees a maintenance plan with you. The plan should reflect the licensed regimen, your response, side effects and preferences. Maintenance planning is included in your monthly price. Read weight loss maintenance.
Is there a branch I can visit?
Aero has no confirmed patient branch you can visit. Its company registered office is not a clinic address. Appointment formats and patient contact details will be published before booking opens; check these before making travel arrangements.
What should I do in an emergency?
Call 999 for a life-threatening emergency. Breathing difficulty, collapse or severe allergic symptoms need immediate help. Other urgent concerns can require NHS 111 or urgent clinical assessment. Aero’s routine messaging is not an emergency service; follow the medicine leaflet’s warning instructions.
