Editorial policy
This pre-publication policy sets out the standards intended for Aero Clinic content. Named clinical reviewers and completed reviews will be recorded before clinical publication.
Sourcing rules #
Clinical claims should be checked against primary sources: the relevant UK product information, NICE guidance, published trials in peer-reviewed journals, and NHS or MHRA publications. Source links support editorial checking but do not establish completed clinical review. Claims about the planned service must be verified separately.
The review process #
The intended process is editorial drafting, checking against the relevant UK product information, and review by an appropriately qualified clinician before clinical publication. Reviewer names, credentials, register links and actual review dates have reserved spaces on this site and will be added once verified. Clinical review is currently pending. The proposed review cycle is at least every 12 months, with earlier review when safety information, licences, prices or guidance change.
Dates and freshness #
Content dates record editorial changes; they do not certify clinical accuracy or approval. A clinical review date will be shown only after the named reviewer completes the review. Prices and service details remain subject to provider confirmation before publication.
Corrections #
The planned corrections process records the issue, supporting source, change and responsible reviewer where applicable. Report an error using the correction link on the affected page. Reader attribution will require consent; the site does not imply that a clinical review log is already complete.
What our content is not #
Site content is general information, not personal medical advice. Your prescriber's guidance, based on your actual history, always takes precedence over anything written here.
Authorship, review and accountability
What is confirmed today
The site credits the Aero Clinic editorial team. Individual author qualifications, the clinical provider and named clinical reviewers have not yet been supplied. An editorial date is not evidence that a clinician reviewed a page.
Until a qualified reviewer signs off a page, its clinical review status is pending. Images used to illustrate care do not identify our clinicians.
Commercial interests
This website describes Aero Clinic treatment plans and prices, so its content has a commercial purpose. A treatment comparison is not an independent endorsement. Suitability and prescribing decisions require an individual clinical assessment.
What a completed review must record
- The author and reviewer, their relevant role and a direct professional-register link.
- The exact claims checked, the applicable UK product information and supporting sources.
- The clinical review date, corrections and the next review trigger.
- Any financial or other relevant competing interests.
Corrections and AI-assisted editing
Technical editing may use AI assistance. It does not establish clinical accuracy or replace a qualified clinical reviewer. Report factual errors using the correction link on each page. Changes to medical advice should be recorded with the reason, source and responsible reviewer.
