Side effects at 1 mg
Rates below come from the UK product information at 2.4 mg, the dose most studied. Side effects cluster in the week after each step up and usually ease within two to three weeks. Severe stomach pain which does not ease needs urgent care.

How long do I stay on Wegovy 1 mg?
At least 4 weeks. Your prescriber only moves you up when you have tolerated the dose and are ready for the next step. You can stay longer if weight loss is going well.
How much does Wegovy 1 mg cost?

What if I miss a dose of Wegovy 1 mg?
Take the missed dose as soon as possible within 5 days of the missed dose. If more than 5 days have passed, skip the dose and take the next one on the usual day. Do not take a double dose.
Can I start on Wegovy 1 mg?
No. Everyone starts on 0.25 mg. Starting higher raises the chance of severe nausea and vomiting. If you are switching from another provider, your prescriber can continue you on your current dose with proof of supply.
When should I move from 1 mg to 1.7 mg?
Follow the dose increase agreed with your prescriber. The standard Wegovy injection schedule uses four weeks at each introductory dose. Report significant side effects before the next increase; do not change the dose or wait for a plateau without clinical advice.
